Ruth Bernhard New Arrivals

Ruth Bernhard was one of the most talented photographers to photograph the female form. She was born in Berlin in 1905 and moved to New York City in 1927 – later studied with Ansel Adams in Carmel, California and became part of the F64 Group. He proclaimed her “the greatest photographer of the nude”. Her photographs celebrate the grace, sensuality, and refinement of the human body. She died in 2006. Her work can be found in many museum and important collections throughout the world.
